What this covers
These terms apply to anyone submitting a business listing to Promote Your Business (operated by InstaWebsite / Codemind Ltd) at promoteyourbusiness.co.uk. By submitting a listing, you agree to these terms.
You confirm that
- You are authorised to list the business — i.e. you own or run it, or have permission from someone who does
- The information you provide is accurate, lawful, and not misleading
- The business operates legally in the UK
- The contact email you provide is one you actively monitor
What we'll do
- Review your submission within 48 hours
- Email you the outcome (approved or rejected with a reason)
- If approved, publish your listing on a public listing page and indexable category / city pages
- Allow visitors to click through to your website (if you provided one) — these clicks are tracked anonymously
- Respond to your reasonable requests to update or remove your listing
What we won't accept
We may reject or remove listings, without notice, that:
- Promote illegal goods or services
- Are obviously spam, duplicate other listings, or misrepresent the business
- Use disposable email addresses or fake contact details
- Promote adult content, gambling outside UKGC-licensed operators, weapons, or other restricted categories
- Generate complaints from third parties about misleading or harmful information
Free, with no commitment
Listing is free. There is no commitment from you, and no payment required. Optional paid upgrades (such as featured placement) are one-off, fixed-term purchases — they never auto-renew, and a listing is never removed or downgraded below the free tier when a paid period ends. Paid features are always optional and clearly labelled.
Removing your listing
Email [email protected]from the address you submitted with, and we'll remove your listing within 7 days.
No warranty
We do our best to keep the directory accurate but make no guarantees about traffic, click volumes, or business outcomes. We're not liable for losses arising from inaccurate information you provide or from listings made by third parties about you.
Changes to these terms
If we materially change these terms we'll update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, email active listing owners.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
